{ippity} Hip Hop and Twist!

Hi Everyone!

Well today is the last day of February,and the last day for the {ippity} challenges for this month!
We will get a new challenge for March tomorrow.
But for today our final challenge was to use Ribbon!
So here is my card:

 I used 2 different sets from {ippity}: " What Matters Most" and "Love in Return"

The Cross,butterflies,sentiment and bird are from "What Matters Most" and the journal block is from "Love in Return". The butterflies may be hard to see, but they are behind the Cross. I did them in memento LuLu Lavender and then embossed them in clear embossing powder.

The ribbon is a lavender silk ribbon that goes under the label 15 nestabilities and then tied in a half bow on the side and the roses from wild craft orchids.
The Dp is the "Spring Words of Faith" from Moxxie (I think). I thought it worked well For an Easter card because of the words Rejoice and Hope. The card stock is from Gina K designs.

Well I know there is a lot to see on the hop,so I will be back tomorrow with another project!

A Stamp Tv Sketch Challenge!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are having a wonderful week so far! We have had some gorgeous weather this week,after our rain last weekend. But the clouds are starting to roll in,I guess we will have rain again by the weekend! But that is okay,another good weekend to play in the craft room!!

One of my goals this year is to try to enter my challenges! So I decided to try my hand at a sketch challenge from Gina K Stamp TV. It is challenge STVSKP14 find it here.

Here is my entry using Home Tweet Home, Rupa Shevede by  Gina K stamps.

Card stock is prism and Gina K pure luxury. The images are colored in with Copics. The ribbon is silk which I bought from i{heart}papers. Love this ribbon!!

Rectangles and tags were cut and embossed with nestabilities. And I cut the birds out and used pop dots to elevate them. 

 The side panels have a very thin adhesive square under them to raise them slightly.

{ippity} Hip Hop!

Happy Monday Everyone!

I think we have quite a few participants today so I will keep this short!

I did this card for the {ippity} photo inspiration challenge that you can see on the {ippity} blog here.
It is 2 hearts that are wrapped in ribbon. So this is what I did!
(edited: I forgot last night as I was blogging,that this also qualifys for the New Challenges for Unity as well! To use Hearts! Check out the New Challenge Blog,there are Prizes to be won! and it is one challenge per month so you have lots of time!)

 I used the {ippity} set Music of my Heart for the main image. I used the heart in the set,stamped it several times,cut it out and "wrapped" them together to make the flower petals. I also used nestabilities blossom die for the bottom layer and then a layer of tulle for dimension.

The hearts also have a background stamp of "Dots for Sure"for added interest. The leaves and vine on the card base are from the set "Now and Always",the sentiment is from Music of my Heart.

 I also used Tim Holtz tissue tape at the bottom. The card stock is from GinaK. And the card base is Kraft card stock from GinaK as well. I hope  you like it. It is a little different for me,but I wanted to give it a try since it sounded good in my head last night!! LOL So I guess we will see!

Wanted to give you an update on our new addition! This is Kona, who we rescued a couple weeks ago now! He is doing GREAT!! And he is such a Love!! But I just keep looking at those FEET!!! Yikes! I know he has to grow into them! tehe!

Happy Friday and Welcome to a Unity Hip Hop!!

Wow! this week flew by!
I have a card to share with you today that I used the Unity Hip Hop Sketch Challenge 45, and took inspiration from the FWF 64 challenge using the polka dots,scallops and the bird for inspiration! I used balloons instead of a bird, they both fly right!? :)

I was so excited that the New Store KOM was in my mailbox yesterday that I decided to use it for my images! I had ordered it from craftysteals.com when she had it available at the beginning of the week!
I did the design paper with the confetti using a stamp from the kit onto Ginak pure luxury card stock. The other Dp is from October Afternoon.  The balloons and the sentiment are also from the kit!

There are so many great images in the kit this month. The kit is called "oh happy day",and it really did make my day happy! You can check out the Unity website for a list of retailers and on-line shops that carry the kit.

I did this card for the {ippity}color challenge: Red,Black,White and Aqua. The set is Music of my Heart. A good one I thought to use for a Valentine's Day card for my Husband! I hope he will like it! ;)

The card stock is GinaK pure luxury. The dark aqua dp is from echo park little girl,and the white that I stamped the music on is from echo park Be Mine. Label 1 nestabilities for the music panel. Red Silk bow and black dew drops. I used copics and on the bird,aqua glaze pen on his tail feathers and then glossy accents to his tummy.

My sentiment on the inside of the card. The ink used is memento  and then clear embossing powder.

It is a {ippity} Hop Monday!

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend!
Did you watch the Super Bowl, or the commercials!? It was actually a good game this year!

We had an exciting weekend, I will just tell you that we added a 3 1/2 month old puppy to our home! We are so excited, and I will post pictures tomorrow and a little of his story!

Now for my card! This was for the {ippity} sketch challenge this week:

 I used the {ippity} set Quotes a'la Happy,and the sentiment is from How you Doin.
Square and oval nestabilities were used to cut out the image and the mats. Card stock is from Gina K. And the DP is Echo Park "life is good", and the yellow is from Cosmo Cricket 6x6 pad.

I stamped the sun first in Adirondack lights lemonade,and then used a stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the birds using cocoa memento ink over the top of it.
I did use a white inkessentials pen to add all the little white dots on the scallops.

 I used thin pop dots for dimension under the square and the oval. I used ribbon and a button from my stash. I hope that you like it!   And , Oh Look!.......

Happy Almost the Weekend Day! ;)

Well it is Thursday, so almost the weekend,since I think the weekend start at about 5pm on Friday! Right? lol

So I just wanted to share a card that I did using a new set that I won during the Mint Motif release blog hop last week! The set is designed by Kimberly Crawford as it is so CUTE!! It is called "Sweet Hearts" and is available only at i{heart}papers .

 I used Gina K pure luxury card stock,and the DP is from Memory Box. Colored the images with copics.

The "foam" on the shake is liquid applique that I heated from the bottom so that it would be bubbly,and then added glitter!
