Is it Monday? Well it must be {ippity} Hip Hop!

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope your day is starting off well! Hopefully with a nice cup of hot something and time to look at all the inspiration!
Today wraps up our first month long challenge! Our design team did a great job picking the categories for each weeks inspiration! The last  challenge of the month was to use brads. This challenge was a lot of fun because I was able to pull out some brads that at first you wouldn't think were brads at all! :)

So as you can see I did a desk calendar with a notepad! It is a easel card style again, only this time I put the calendar on top and then added the sticky notes below.
I used the {ippity} set Farm Fresh for all of the images. This set is ending up to be one of my most used and favorite sets! Which in a way surprises me a little, because our home is not Country! But these images are so darn cute and versatile!  AND I do have this set in stock for anyone who needs to add it to their collection! ;) Remember when you order from me you receive a free paper pack, some surprise goodies and I have a Customer Appreciation Program! ( okay this ends the public service announcement! tehe)
Now, for the brads...I used 2 "screws"  that I distressed with my Tim Holtz hammer to hold the calendar in place. Then on the barn that is a star brad and a small brad for the door handle. Then next to the barn, the horse is a brad as well! The horse is hidden a little right now with the notepad being full, but as you use the notes the horse will gradually reveal himself! ;)
This is the top part folded down. I used a Fiskars photo corner punch to add the panel. This way if during the year you decide that you would like to change the image that can be done.
I did reinforce the bottom with some very heavy cardboard that I had saved from some packaging.I  covered it with the same card stock that I used for the card base, which is GinaK pure luxury chocolate chip.
The images were stamped on GinaK pure luxury ivory and colored with copics and then cut out. Inks used were memento and versamagic. DP is MME and October Afternoon.
I hope you like it!

Thank you for stopping by today! You each make my day when you do!!

Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

P.S I will be back tomorrow with another calendar using "How you Doin", and sweet Erica gave my blog an award! Thanks again Erika!!
