A Travel Box for my Nieces!

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is enjoying the last bits of Summer! Our weather here is still gorgeous. Clear skies (mostly, little morning fog here and there) and temps in the high 70's- 80's. Not to bad!

Well I am here today to share with you a little travel box that was inspired by Lesly Langdon on UnityTv a few Weeks ago. My Nieces are going on a little road trip and I thought that this would be really cute for them!

I used a tin that I had from the chipboard flower set from Maya Roads. It was perfect because it had the little window. The Unity Stamp sets that I used for the front were "Along for the Ride", and the clouds are from "Leap for Life". The paper is from the Summer pack from Echo Park.
Here are a few pictures from the inside:

 The card stock is from GinaK,and again the dp is from Echo Park. I used the tickets from Tim Holtz,the Sun is a button from "Dress it up", and the sparkly alphabet is from Making Memories Glitter Bling!

 I used Nestabilities Grand large labels for the raised dp panel. ( picture above this one)
The next thing I did was to add a tick tac toe game for them! Again I used Echo Park dp. I covered a base from a heavy Ice cream box (which you will see later! lol,because I should have placed the pieces on the backside!!;D) and then cut another large label for the playing board. On the underside (which I forgot to photograph before I put it together) anyway, on the underside I placed magnetic squares,you will see why in a picture below. ;)

 I used a stitch stamp that I have from Hot Potatoes "Straight Stitch", for the lines, and then I used flowers from the Unity July 11' kit of the month for the playing pieces,seen below. The clear glaze is still drying,and since it was late  my Sister who was here visiting,and was seeing the girls today, couldn't wait for them to get dry,so they left wet! ( see the ice cream box! tehe)

 So this morning she put the magnets on the back of the playing pieces. Oh I almost forgot, I used shrink plastic for the playing pieces. The stamped images are much larger,but they shrank down to the perfect size. I put a little cupcake notepad in it for them for little notes.

My Niece called me this morning to Thank me and she said that her Dad (my brother,just love him!) gave her an old camera to use on the trip,so she is going to put the pictures in there to save them! That warmed my heart! :D Her Sister is 3 years old and she said she would put her treasures in there to! Another warm moment!

The first is Loads of Love, which I used GinaK pure luxury card stock and the design paper is from Jillibean soup, Watermelon Gazpacho.

The second sample I have actually uses a set from the July release Thankful for You

 and the background stamp from the new release Make your Mark. I used Tim Holtz stains and distress ink. The images are stamped with Memento tuxedo black. The whole tag was sprayed with several different glimmer mist! So much FUN!! :)

Hi Everyone from Gorgeous Nevus, Minnesota!!

I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I am on vacation and have not deserted my Blog!! :D

We are in Minnesota visiting our friends at their lake cabin and will be back about the 12th.

Good Morning to all! I hope that you all had a great weekend!

I have a card to share with you today using I think what is ending up to be my favorite kit from the new release! "New Season,New Wonder"!

And today I am also linking the project with another link up blog hop at Made it Myself Mondays!

 The design paper is from October Afternoon, the tag is from Graphic 45. I thought the clocks and the cherry on the tag matched the cherries and the sentiment from the {ippity} kit just perfect! The frame behind the tag and the image of the cherries is also a Unity stamp called polka dot journal.

 So the cherries and the sentiment are from "New season New Wonder". I stamped the cherries using Memento ink markers,which made it easier to color the stems green without having to mask the image of the cherries first. I did use a huffing technique to keep the image moist enough so it enabled me to emboss the image with clear embossing powder. The card stock is from GinaK designs pure luxury.

Here are all the stamps that you get in this new set! Quite a few stamps!! And they are so much fun to play with and perfect for summer! And I have them in stock waiting for good inky homes! ;)

Being introduced Today!

Hi Everyone!

A very late start in getting this posted today!

The cardstock is from GinaK,the dp is from serendipity. I also used tuxedo black memento ink and colored the flowers with copics.

{ippity} Hip Hop!

Hi Everyone!

It is a {ippity} Link it Hip Hop!

I have some Father's Day place cards that I am working on and thought I would share! I will be back later today to edit this as soon as I have the rest of them done.
My Daughter's are going to cook a Father's Day dinner for us and some Dear Friends, so I thought that I would do some place cards,and the New {ippity} release has just the right images!

The sets that I used were: Flowers + Friends = Priceless, and....

 the Man. I thought that the shirt made a great image for all of the men, and I will use the flowers for the Ladies!

I will be back later this morning and add the rest of the Ladies cards.
If you have time I would love for you to check out my last post as well. I did a guestbook for my girlfriend that I would love your feed back on. I have never done a book and would love to know what you think! I used a variety of stamps, but of course Unity and {ippty} were involved!! LOL

Made it Myself Monday!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am participating in the "Made it Myself Monday Blog Hop"!

I wanted to show you the rest of the Guestbook that I am working on for my Girlfriend!
I re-did some of it,and took better pictures. The journaling pages are done and I think it is actually going to get put into the mail for her today!! :)
(edited: Just added this ribbon for a closure. what do you think? added an eyelet and then knotted the ribbon on the inside of front and back.)

I have used a variety of stamps,the majority being from Unity,{ippity}, Eat Cake Graphics and Hero Arts, as well as Stampscapes and Technique Tuesday (one of the journaling stamps)
Some of the pages are listed in the post below,so I won't show them all again this time.
I will keep this short since I know that there will be a lot of crafty goodness to see!
