Hi Everyone!

I know that there has been a lot of incredible inspiration so far, and I am sure there is more to follow!
So I will keep this short! ;)
But first..tehe.....Just a reminder that my {ippity} sale of 25% off,and special shipping prices ends this Thursday! So if you are thinking of adding to your collection, or starting one now is the time to do it!!
Just click on the sale tab at the top of the page! Thank you!!

Okay, back to our program!! :)
This week I needed to do a sympathy card for a friend of my Husbands. She works in his department, and recently lost her Husband to cancer... If you could say a prayer for the family that would be wonderful!
He said to do a card that was not to frilly, more clean and simple lines....
I used 2 different {ippity} sets, the first one was "What Matters Most", the second one "Regal Greetings".
The butterflies were stamped onto Memory Box dp, the white and slate colored cards stock is from GinaK,pure luxury. I used a border punch from fiskars at the bottom. The pearls are from Zva.White silk ribbon I purchased from i{heart}papers.
Inks used were Memento tuxedo black for the sentiment, and for the Cross and the butterflies I used London Fog by Memento. And some clear embossing powder.

The sentiment on top is from the set "What Matters Most" and the sentiment at the bottom is from Heart and Soul Rubber stamps. I just thought that the 2 sentiments went so well together that I decided to use them even though they are different companies and fonts.

I hope you like it!
Have a great Monday! And thank you so much for stopping by today!
Blessings and Hugs,
Mary

Another {ippity} Hip Hop!!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today for our {ippity} challenge we had to create a project using the Spring colors pink, yellow, blue and light green!

So I created a card for Spring using our {ippity} set "Sweet thought of Spring".
The card stock is from GinaK, from her spring collection pure luxury.
I cut out the bunny and the sentiment and gave them some dimension using thin pop dots.

The basket was also cut out,and the I filled it in with flower soft, small flowers from savvy and some greenery that I punched with a ek success punch. The basket image actually has Easter eggs in it,but I wanted a flower basket,so I covered over the eggs and trimmed it down just a little bit! The comment bubble is actually meant to have the little bubbles coming up from the other side,so I cut them off so that I could position it so the the bunny was talking from the right side of the card instead of the left. I used little black rhinestones from Hero arts for the little bubbles instead. The little rhinestone flowers are from Hero arts as well.

Well I hope that you like it. For some reason I was having a hard time putting it together yesterday. So I still can't decide! I think my Niece will like it! I hope! :)

If you would like to purchase this set or any of the {ippity} sets please see my sale page! I still have my 25% off sale going on until the end of the month! Remember I invoice you thru paypal and once I receive payment your stamps will be on there way to you! :)
Enjoy the rest of the hop! I know there is a lot of inspiration and talent to see!
Have a great week, and I will be back soon!

Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

A Butterfly Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone!

I am here today to share with you a Butterfly card that I did for the Butterfly Blog Hop that Sweet Eva put together! This is for anyone who loves Butterflies! And there are so many gorgeous Butterflies to see!! You can find out all the details on Eva's blog, and the list of all of those that are participating HERE!

So here is the card that I did:

I used the Butterfly from "Faith is Hope" from GinaK designs and the sentiment is from "Regal Greetings" from {ippity} Unity stamp company!
I stamped the butterfly twice onto white pure luxury card stock from GinaK and colored it in with copic markers and a clear star spica glitter pen. I Cut out one of them and popped it up with some dimensional pop dots. I used an oval nestabilities die for the main image and for the black card stock matting.  I also sponged some sky blue memento ink for the background.

I  added coffee bean brown sparkle fluff for the body of the butterfly to add texture and dimension. The black velvet ribbon is from MME Lush collection and the black pearls are from Hero Arts.
This is also the sketch design from this weeks Stamp Tv's Challenge! I have just started to play in Gina's sketch challenges and I have to say that I am really enjoying them! ;)
It can really help to jump start your creativity. Just like the first challenge of each month for {ippity}is a sketch challenge, like I said it really helps to get things moving!
The design paper is from the minuet collection from Memory box and the card base is mother of pearl from GinaK,and let me tell you that is gorgeous card stock!! :)

Well that is it for me. I hope that you enjoy this fun Butterfly Blog Hop! I know that there a prizes involved as well!! :D
I hope you all have a Beautiful Sunday!

Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

A Canvas piece for Unity's monthly challenge!

Hello again Everyone!

I wanted to share this Canvas piece that I did f or my Daughter's friend, which also qualifies for this months Unity Challenge to use Hearts!

My daughter's friend wanted me to do a canvas for her, using a poem that one of their patients at the clinic where they work brought in to share with everyone. It is a poem about battling with depression. A few months ago I did a canvas piece with this same poem for their clinic . you can see that one in an earlier post here.
I used Unity's stamp set "The Artist in You" with acrylic paints from Claudine Hellmuth's Studio line paints. The foliage has been stamped several times and the distressed. The very first layer of stamps I used clear embossing powder and heat set it. I think that this helped to add some depth to this layer of color.
I did add a strip of Tim Holtz tissue tape across the bottom and then distressed it with antique linen distress inks, and then stamped a layer of green foliage over the top of that as well. The poem is printed on GinaK pure luxury thru our ink jet printer and then distressed with distress inks.It is hard to tell put I did used some verasmagic wheat ink to stamp the vine image from the set onto the poem for a background, but it is difficult to see.
The Heart image was stamped using the acrylic paints. I can't really give you colors because I did mix my colors to get what you see. Claudine has a great chart available on her blog that you can download that shows you all the variations of colors that you can get by mixing her basic colors! It is a wonderful tool to have.
If you click on the photo you will be able to enlarge this so that you can read the poem.

Thank you for stopping by today! I would love to know what you think of this! And any suggestion are appreciated! :)
I will probably be doing a few more of these if anyone is interested. My daughter is going to be doing the 3 day walk for the cure, for Breast Cancer. She will be doing some bake sales and I will be doing some craft items for her to sell as well. I think  that I will do these for her to try to sell.

Have a great day!
Blessings and Hugs,
Mary

Happy Spring!

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to another {ippity} Hip Hop!
well I know it isn't spring quite yet, but I also know that some of you can't wait for spring to get here!
We are having some rain tonight, but for us that is a good thing! lol
I hope that for those of you that are having a rough winter that spring comes soon!

So with that in mind I did a card for Spring! :D

I used "Sweet Thoughts of Spring" for the adorable baby chick and the sentiment, and the sun is from "Quotes a'la Happy".  I did paper piece his tummy, and used copics to color him in.I used memento inks, scalloped and plain nestabilities, and fiskar border punches. The design papers were from my scrap bin. I also used a white inkessentials pen for the faux stitching around the card. The ribbon was from Micheal's and the little gemstones on the scallops are from Hero Arts.
I hope that you like it!  Thank you so much for stopping by today, it really does make my day when you stop in for a visit!!
If you are interested in any of the sets to purchase please see my {ippity} sales page. The button is at the top of this page and it will take you right to it! My 25% off sale and special pricing on shipping is still going on! Some great prices! ;)
