Hello Hip Hop Friends!

Welcome to my Blog! Have you been enjoying all the crafty goodness? Lots of eye candy today!
This week our challenge was to select a sketch from SCS sketch challenge forum.
Easier said than done! ...There are so many sketches!! An incredible amount of inspiration to get the juices flowing.

The sketch I choose was SC285
( trying to copy and paste sketch but the gallery seems to be done at the moment....)
Anyway this is what I came up with using the {ippity} set: Season of Joy.
The paper is from The Paper Temptress, and the ink used was Brilliance Pearlescent ice blue and graphic black.

The trees and holly were colored in quickly with copics. I used a snowflake punch from EK success across the bottom and the square nestibilities for the large snowflake images.

The little snowflakes around the sentiment are the little flakes that are punched out when using the border punch.
I used foam pop dots under the squares for some added dimension.

Well the nice thing is I have one more Christmas card done! Yeah!!

My sale is still going on until the end of this month, so please email me if I can help you!

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful week,

Blessing and Hugs,

Mary

It is another {ippity} Hip Hop Monday!

What could be better than that to start the week off! ( okay well maybe a holiday Monday! tehe ;) )

So today the Challenge for our {ippity} Hop was to use the Fall colors Red, Yellow and Green.
And this is what I came up with! I hope you like it!

I used 2 different {ippity} stamp sets:
Quotes a'la Happy...for the Sun, birds and the checkered pattern behind the birds which in this picture is a little hard to see.
Fall for You...for the tree branch, birdcage and sentiment. Also for the oak leaves that I placed in the inside left page to hide the ink from the Copic markers that bleed thru the card stock.

One thing you may notice is the these birds are facing in reverse of what the stamp image really is. I wanted the birds to be looking up in the direction of the bird in the birdcage!
To do this I used a Mirror It! stamp.
At the time when I purchased it the retailer was Cornish Heritage farms, however they have closed their doors.
You stamp your image onto the rubber stamp and then stamp it onto your project, and you have the reverse of the image!

I used ranger distress inks as well as memento ink and clear embossing powder. The images were colored with Copics.
The card base is Husk from prismatics, and the images are stamped onto ivory pure luxury from GinaK designs. I did used pop dots behind the birds for dimension. The sparkle on the birdcage and the sentiment as well as the belly of the birds is from a clear star glitter pen.

Thank you for looking, and for all your sweet comments! They really do mean so much to me! :)

If you need any of the sets listed today or any of the other sets from {ippity} please allow me to help you! Just check my sale page and send my an e-mail, I will get back to you promptly!

Thank you and enjoy the rest of the Hop!

Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

Best of Luck Michelle and Fall Thanks!

Good Morning Everyone, and welcome to my blog!

This week our challenge for our {ippity} Chicks and Customers was to create something with Fall as the inspiration!

I decided to do this Thank you note as I wanted to Thank one of our Fearless Leaders who is leaving {ippity} and Unity this week. Michelle helped to get {ippity} off the ground and has always been there for us,but now she is moving on to another adventure which is better for her family at this time.
We will all miss her! She was always ready to help and so sweet!
Take care of yourself Michelle, and Best of Luck to you!
This is the card I created for her, I hope you like it!!

The leaves were cut from the branch in the set "Fall for you" and placed to look like the tree was loosing its leaves. The bird on the fence is from Totally Happy which I cut out and used pop dots under for dimension.

The {ippity} sets that I used were:
So This is Love (Trees)
Totally Happy (Fence with bird)
Fall for you( pumpkin, corner pieces, falling leaves)
and the sentiment is from Regal Greetings
Card stock is from GinaK, and DP is from BoBunny
I used rich cocoa memento, and rusty hinges distress ink and clear embossing powder.
The sparkle on the pumpkin is from a clear star glitter pen, and I edged the tag with a copper metallic marker.
I hope you like it!
Thank you for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the hop and have a wonderful week!!
Blessings and Hugs,
Mary

Hope

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for stopping bye!
I wanted to share some cards with you that I am doing for an upcoming fund raiser that my daughter is helping with. There is a Nurse in her clinic that is doing the 3day walk for Breast cancer and needs to raise the entrance fee.

The stamp sets that I used were from GinaK and Our Daily Bread Designs.

The Butterfly is from GinaK's set called "Hope is Faith". The pink velvet ribbon is may arts that I bought from The stamp simply ribbon storehttp://storehttp//notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/ribbon-for-sale/

Used the long classic nestabilities for the sentiments. Paper is from GinaK and prismatics. Pearls from Kaiser Kraft.

The ribbon and the sentiment from ODBD is in the stamp set called "Hope". I used Adirondack dye ink (shell pink) and clear embossing powder. Pearls, ribbon again, and small and large label nesties.

Here I used little flowers that I purchased thru GinaK designs.
She will be selling these cards in sets, and I do hope that they will sell for them.
In the future I will be starting a new sell page and have some sets that I will be trying to sell thru my blog. Any suggestions for sets would be appreciated. Maybe something that has worked for you in the past? Any hints for success with this would be so helpful!
Thank you for taking the time to look. Your comments means so much and are so appreciated. I know it takes time to leave them, so Thank you again!
Blessings and Hugs,
Mary
P.S for anyone that read my last post I mentioned our dog Angel. He has had another seizure and is at the Vet's for more work up as I write this. Unfortunately he may need an MRI which is 1500$, we have lost 2 dogs to cancer in the last 2 years and we are tapped out. Cancer tx isn't cheap as you probably well know. I know it may seem odd but I just ask that you say a little prayer for him, that we can treat him with anti-seizure meds or something else that we can fix for him without the MRI.
Thank you! God Bless!

It is {ippity} Hip Hop and a Holiday! What could be better!?

Good morning everyone!
Happy Memorial day! I hope everyone has a wonderful day with Family and Friends, or just relaxing in whatever way you choose!!
This is going to be quick as there are lots of blogs to visit today! And it is almost 3:30am! I was all set to post tonight and one of our precious dogs had a seizure, so we just got back from the emergency room. Not sure yet what is wrong, but hoping and praying that it was a fluke. Any prayers for Angel would be appreciated. :)

Our challenge this week was to create something with school in mind. So I did an assignment book with an inspirational quote on the front. I covered the book (a 1$ find at Michael's) with paper from MME, added turquoise ribbon to close the book and also for a bookmark.

Used another uplifting quote on the inside front cover, and a journal block on the opposite page for adding class schedules.
I used the cropadile to add an eyelet to the back cover to add support so the ribbon wouldn't tear the paper cover. (just to be sure)
{ippity} stamp sets used:
"Love is Return" { inside front page}
"Where you should be" ( front cover sentiment, inside cover sentiment, leaves on front cover and inside cover)
"You Deserve" (flowers on front cover)

Remember is you need any of sets shown here or any of the other {ippity} sets, please see my {ippity} sales page! My 30% off sale on previous releases, and 10% off current release is still going on!
Flat rate of 3$ shipping, and a free paper pack.(And probably some ribbon as well! ;) )

Enjoy your day!
Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

Unity FWF 40!

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my blog and another Unity FWF challenge!

This week I took inspiration from the numbers and the flower in this weeks inspiration piece.

I decided to do a gift card to add to a handcrafted item.

The stamps sets that I used this week were from the Cosmo Cricket line by Unity called " Material Girl" and "Get Scrappy With".
I stamped the ruler on the twill ribbon to make a tape measure, to go with the sewing theme. The dresses are paper pieced.
DP is Cosmo cricket early bird line and the paper on the top is October Afternoon picnic table.
I used a clear star glitter pen and a silver Spica pen on the scissors trying to get a metal look for the blades. Added some little rhinestones for a little bling, and clear embossing powder with Memento and Adirondack inks.

I'll keep this short since there is a lot of eye candy to be seen!
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

Just wanted to share!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I just had a card from the new {ippity} release that I wanted to share with you!
I was lucky and honored to have it picked to be shown on the {ippity} blog on Sunday!
I was so excited to see it there!! It made my day. :)

I used the new set called "House a Home" and the Birds on the inside of the card are from a previous release "What Matters Most".

The DP is from Cosmo Cricket, and the CS is GinaK pure luxury. I did paper piece the houses, used the long rectangle nestabilities, the tree brads are from the Eyelet Factory. On the inside of the card I used that darling PVC ribbon from May arts ( I think...or it could be Maya Roads...it has been in my stash awhile! ;) )

We have new neighbor's that are moving in next door, and I think that we are going to go over with some wine of baked items and welcome them. This card will be in the basket!
Hope you are having a great week!
It is a long weekend coming up! That should make everyone happy! :)
I have a few other projects to share either later today or tomorrow. I have been working with some stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs. My Daughter's office is doing a fundraiser to help one of the Nurses participate in the upcoming 3day walk to fight breast cancer. ODBD has a set that is perfect for this and I would love to get some feed back on these sets.
Until then,
Blessings and Hugs,
Mary
