Hi Everyone!
Hope you had a great weekend!
I know that there has been a lot of incredible inspiration so far, and I am sure there is more to follow!
So I will keep this short! ;)
But first..tehe.....Just a reminder that my {ippity} sale of 25% off,and special shipping prices ends this Thursday! So if you are thinking of adding to your collection, or starting one now is the time to do it!!
Just click on the sale tab at the top of the page! Thank you!!
Okay, back to our program!! :)
This week I needed to do a sympathy card for a friend of my Husbands. She works in his department, and recently lost her Husband to cancer... If you could say a prayer for the family that would be wonderful!
He said to do a card that was not to frilly, more clean and simple lines....
I used 2 different {ippity} sets, the first one was "What Matters Most", the second one "Regal Greetings".
The butterflies were stamped onto Memory Box dp, the white and slate colored cards stock is from GinaK,pure luxury. I used a border punch from fiskars at the bottom. The pearls are from Zva.White silk ribbon I purchased from i{heart}papers.
Inks used were Memento tuxedo black for the sentiment, and for the Cross and the butterflies I used London Fog by Memento. And some clear embossing powder.
The sentiment on top is from the set "What Matters Most" and the sentiment at the bottom is from Heart and Soul Rubber stamps. I just thought that the 2 sentiments went so well together that I decided to use them even though they are different companies and fonts.
I hope you like it!
Have a great Monday! And thank you so much for stopping by today!
Blessings and Hugs,
Mary

Mary this is lovely. Keep up the good work. I don't get a chance to get by often, but always a treat when I do.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing Mary. Sympathy cards are so hard for me to create because I want to say something that will ease their sorrow, but I know that no words can do that. The images you have used here are a wonderful way to let your friend know that you care.
