Good Morning Everyone!
Time for another {ippity}Hip Hop Challenge!
This week it was to use scallops on your project and use {ippity} stamps. (of course!:) )
I used the scallops as waves under the sea, along with the {ippity} stamp set Fishy Philosophy.
Every thing is layered on Pure Luxury white from GinaK Designs and Luxury Navy, and the DP is from the Paper Company. The coral and underwater plants are DP from MME that I cut out and layered after stamping with images from the set. The fish are colored in quickly with my copics, and then a little ribbon and charm also from the Paper Company.
Tried to keep this short since there are so many great projects to see today.
Remember to check out the Unity Blog today because the festivities are beginning today to celebrate another Anniversary!!
Thank you for stopping by, I truly appreciate it!
Hugs and Blessings,
Mary

Thinking of You
Happy Thursday! ( well it is almost friday :) )
Hope you had a wonderful day today! The weekend is almost here, and tomorrow on the Unity blog is Friends with Flair! There are so many talented people that will participate, you should check it out! I am hoping to participate next week, we will find out the new challenge tomorrow.... I will let you know after we see what the challenge is! lol
Then tomorrow on Cat's Blog ( Cat's Craft Cupboard) she will be posting a new challenge for her new Friday Feature Challenge. And along with the challenge there will be specials! The items that are featured in her inspiration piece that will be on special for 48 hours! So you should check out her blog as well!
Okay, for my card tonight I am sharing with you a card that I did for one of my on-line friends who was very ill, and at the same time her house was flooded from the recent rains. So our little on-line group thought that she might need some cheering up and decided to get people as many people as possible to send her cards, and this was the card I did for her:
The image of the little girl is "Mimosa with Tea" from Paper Jewels and the dog with the Rose is Penny Black Birthday critters clear set. I colored the images with copic markers and the cut Mimosa out and popped her up using pop dots and mounted her on pure luxury white from GinaK. The DP is Graphic 45. Used the rectangle nestabilities both plain and scalloped.
I used a butterfly punch and then embellished it with clear rhinestones, the flowers are from wild orchid crafts. Oh, and the ribbon behind the flowers is silk ribbon from the stamp simply ribbon store. For the leaves I used a punch from EK success.
I hope you like it! Although the most important thing is that our friend is doing better and Her home has dried out! :)Have a great night, and I will be back soon!
Hugs and Blessings,
Mary

I'm Back!
Well it is still before midnight here on the west coast so I did post today as promised, just not as early as I had hoped!! ;)
Anyway......the card I have for today is another birthday card...lots of Birthdays this month it seems!
For this card I used The Greeting Farm "Me Time Anya".
The image is stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with copics and I did use a clear star glitter pen on the bubbles but I don't think it shows very well in this picture. I apologize for the poor quality of the picture, it was 2:30am and I couldn't get the lighting right!lol
I used the Petite Lg. oval nestabilities both plain and scalloped and the eyelet border punch is from Fiskars. The Card base is pure luxury white from GinaK, and the amethyst metallic is from The Paper Temptress. DP is daisyd's 8x8 "maybe baby valentine " pad that I bought from Cat's Craft Cupboard, the double sided lavender satin ribbon was purchased there as well. I used a Fiskars butterfly punch and clear rhinestones to embellish the bow which was made with the bow easy. Love that bow easy!
I did paper piecing for her hair band and her little slippers, used pop dots for dimension and used the clear Rain Dots (also from Cat's) on the bubbles to help them pop a little bit.
I used the 1/2" side of the Crop-a-dile Corner Chompers to give the rounded edges.
Okay...another post will come tomorrow and hopefully at a more reasonable hour!
Thank you for stopping by and spending some time with me on my journey!
I really treasure each of you!
Hugs and Blessings,
Mary

Birthdays and Babies Oh My!
Hi everyone!
Last week really got away from me! (again!!)
I do have several things to share with you, but today I will only show you two of the cards and then tomorrow I WILL be back with another. :)
This first card I did for the 1st Friday Feature Challenge at Cat's Craft Cupboard! (http://http//catscraftcupboard.blogspot.com/2010/03/fridays-feature-1.html)
She is going to be posting a new challenge every other week on Fridays. The first challenge was was posted on the 2ND of April so the next one will be this Friday!
Her first challenge was this sketch:
And Here is my take on it!
I needed a Birthday card for my Daughter's girlfriend so I used this darling image from Unity Stamp Co. March Store Kit of the Month.
For the Cupcakes I used copics and glitter pens for the icing and the strawberries and then paper pieced the "paper liners" on the bottom, embellished the cake stand with some pink pearls and then cut the image out with labels 12 nestibilities , used pop dots to adhere the white card stock to the amethyst metallic from the paper temptress. The lilac polka dots from Lasting Impressions I got at Cat's Craft Cupboard awhile back as well as the flowers. The pink polka dots is making memories which I picked up
at Micheal's as well as the ribbon. I did use memento ink for the image(tuxedo black) and to highlight the background sky blue ink, around the edges dandelion yellow.
The next card I would like to share, is a Baby card!
Another friend of my daughter is having a little Girl next month. ( boy time flew,.. well maybe not for her!tehe) This was the card I did for her Baby Shower....
I used Baby Girl Jumper Unity Stamps. Colored the image with Copics and clear star glitter pen. Added rhinestones to the bodice, some cute little buttons and the roses are from wild orchid crafts. I used Sizzix Round-a-Bout die cut alphabet set for her name "Jordan"( isn't that a darling name?!). The Nestibilites Petite Large Oval plain and scalloped is the matting behind the image. DP is imaginisce Twitterpatted and I used a pink glitter paper from Cynful Designs for her name....I hope you can see how pretty that paper is in the picture, sometimes it is really hard for me to get the sparkle.
Here is the inside of the card as well, I used the new Baby Borderabilites and then layered the DP under it.
I think the sentiment is from Heart and Soul Rubber Stamps ( I think :) ) I just love that verse.!
Okay, well that is all I have for today but I will be back tomorrow with another card for you.
Have a wonderful evening and I hope you can come back tomorrow and join me again!
Hugs and Blessings,
Mary

{ippity} Blog Hop!
Hello everyone!
It is Sunday evening, but I want to make sure that my post for Monday morning is done in time, so I am posting tonight. :)
Welcome to another {ippity} blog hop! I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter, filled with many Blessings!
Today we had the challenge to make and Easter or Spring card using our {ippity} stamps.
I decided to do an Easter card. ( you can click on the pictures to enlarge to see the detail better)
I used 2 different stamp sets from {ippity} Stamps; the Cross is from What Matters Most and the flourishes that I put on the butterfly wings is from the Regal Greetings set. That is such a beautiful set, I just love it! and the What Matters Most set is so versatile, I know that I am going to get a lot of use from it...I mean I already have and it has only been out since the middle of February!
The card stock that I used is from GinaK designs, oh and the sentiment that I used on the inside of the card is also from GinaK, from the Easter Blessings set.
I used a butterfly Impressibilities on the ocean mist card stock. The frame around was done with the Victorian borderbilities, and the rectangle and label 1 from nestibilities as well.....my spellbinders stuff got quite a workout on this card!
I used a chipboard butterfly from MayaRoads and covered it with DP from MemoryBox and then stamped the flourishes on the wings. The roses are mulberry roses from wild orchid and then I used some white silk ribbon that I bought from http://iheartpapers.com/.
I used rhinestones from hero arts and Kaiser craft and then outlined the cross using a clear start glitter pen, I hope you can see the sparkle in the 2ND picture.....it is hard to capture!
I do hope that you like it!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today, it is greatly appreciated!
I have a couple other projects that I would like to share with you,so I will be back tomorrow and hopefully Wednesday as well. I do hope that you can stop back in again!
And remember if you are interested in any of the {ippity} stamps please send me an e-mail and I will get right back to you. Still trying to get paypal set up. The buttons were not working so I had to take them off. But I am not going to let this computer win, so I will get it figured out!
I want also to thank Eryn for picking and sharing my card on the {ippity} blog this last week! You don't know how excited I was when I saw that! It just made my whole week!!
Have a wonderful day,
Hugs,
Mary
