Feature Wednesday! Stitches of Buttons!

Hi Everyone!

Today I am back for {ippity's} "Feature Wednesday". This week we are sharing projects that are done with our background stamp called "Stitches of Buttons"! This is such an adorable back ground stamp,I think you are really going to find many uses for it!

I wanted to do something different this time. So I decided that I wanted to use the stamp on fabric and then cut it out into a flower and use it on something!....the problem was use it on what!? LOL
Well....this is what I decided to do!
Can you tell what it is??
I stamped onto fabric with stazon ink,and then colored in the buttons with copic markers. I also went around the edges of the flower with copics to highlight the petals a little better. I used steam a seam in between the layers of fabric to give some body to it,and on  the leaves I used it to put a backing on them so that the stitching doesn't show on the backside.

The dies are from Tim Holtz (sizzix). Well if you couldn't tell in the earlier photo it is a headband! ;) The headband is from creative imaginations. They come white, and I used dylusions ink spray to color the fabric.

Well, I am going to try to keep this short today. So if you have any questions about my project just leave me a comment or send me an e-mail to maryscreativejourney@gmail.com. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I really appreciate it, more than you know! :)
If you are interested in this stamp and need help ordering just drop me a line. I will be more than happy to help you out!

Have a great day!
Hugs,
Mary

P.S I have also linked this project to Stephanie Lynn's " Under the Table and Dreaming" Sunday Showcase! This is such a fun blog for all things creative and stylish!
