So much to Learn!

Wow! So much to learn about having a blog! Still trying to get things set up and in order.
Taking twice as long as it should since I don't know what I am doing Yet!! But I will conquer this!
I did get a little side tracked today because of these two little darlings!

They were neutered and spayed on wed....they have cones on and are suppose to stay quiet, no running or playing for 2 weeks! yeah, right! trying to keep Daisy ( the siberian Huskey) quiet is like trying to keep water in a sieve...lol. Cooper the Coton De Tulear is a little easier, but they are buddies and love to play and chase each other, so I am trying to use their crates, give them things to chew on to keep them quite, etc... the pain medicne also helps and a little bit of benadryl also makes them a little sleepy. Just for the first few day so they don't pop their sutures.
I do have a card to share with you.....
Used Unity's Lily Pad Playland kit for this masculine birthday card.
I used Memento Rich Cocoa and embossed the image with adirondack Espresso embossing powder on Prism Husk cardstock, two layers of different colors of brown card stock ,one being a metallic bronze from the paper temptress. I used versamark on the next layer with a dragon fly stamp from the set and then it is all layered on Dragonfly Duet DP from Graphic 45.
I love their papers! Can't wait to see the new lines that were released at CHA the last week!

The inside of the card...sentiment composed with JustRite Times New Roman Font.

Well I wanted to get a project done to show you from the {ippity} stamps from Unity done today, but between out fur kids that are recouping and learning this blog I haven't gotten it done yet.

Oh! also Kate from i{heart}papers started a new group on Paper Craft Planet for Copics Markers! She just started it yesterday and it is growing.....yeah! You should check it out.It is called i{heart}copics. It is a place to share and learn...I hope to be doing a lot of learning, and with the group that is there already, I think I will be able to.

Thanks for sticking with me thru such a long post! More to come tomorrow!

Have a Blessed evening!

Mary

  1. Poor little things! They have to wear the cone of shame. Did you see the movie UP? That's what that comes from. They're adorable!
