FWF Challenge 39

Happy Friday Everyone!

Time for another FWF from Unity Stamps!

Always a great way to start the weekend! :)

I tried to do something a little different this time. Not sure about its success but thought I would share anyway.

I tried to only use 2 colors ,well 3 if you count the white vellum layer. ;).

I used Ivory card stock from ginak for main image that is stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Ice Blue. Used the Clear Star pencil on the Fairies wings, and cut another layer for the upper flower. The beautiful cards stock the is a blue color shimmer, it is from the paper temptress and it is gorgeous, this picture does not do justice! It changes hues when you move it. Anyway it is embossed with a sizzix embossing folder. The image and mats are cut with the large oval nestabilites, as well as a Nesties for the label.

The Fairy image is from Unity, I think it was in one of the Unity KOM, but they made it into wood! and the sentiment is from the Regal Greetings sets from {ippity}. ( Which I still have on sale! Please check my {ippity} page if you are interested)

Hip Hop {ippity} Style! And a New Release as Well!!

Hi Everyone!

Time for another {ippity} Hop, a Challenge and a New Release!! What could be better than that!?

Okay on to the Challenge for this week. It was to use string on our projects.
I used the new kit "So this is Love" for the main image, and the sentiment is from "Just wanted to say" from a previous release. I can't tell you how often I reach for that set because of the sentiments that are in it.
"So this is Love" comes with 2 main images and 4 sentiments.
I loved the rustic feel of the image with the string.
The DP is from Cosmo Cricket,as well as the button. The card stock is GinaK pure luxury white and also Chocolate Chip. I used my Long Rectangle and the label 8, and tags Nestabilites.
The Sun in the upper left hand corner is a paper clip that I found at staples, then some Plumeria Dew drops in the 2 corners to finish it off.

I am working on another card using the new release, hoping to get that posted tonight or tomorrow. We have a New Neighbor, and in this release there is the perfect set to do a "Welcome" card for them!

It is the set called "House a Home" perfect right!
