Unity FWF 35 Blog Hop!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Hope you have all had a great week! I for one have been busy getting ready for our vacation!

My Husband and I are going to meet my girlfriend and her husband in Glacier National Park on Monday for a whole week! We are leaving Saturday morning and driving from Southern California to Glacier...we have a 20 hour drive ahead of us. But the girls are staying home with all the dogs and plenty of people around and visiting to make sure there are no wild parties! LOL...

I did a Thank you card today using Best Wishes and Blooms.I colored the image with my copics and then used the rectangle nestabilities to cut them out and then pop dots to give some dimension. The DP is from Jillibean Soup (Chicken Noodle). The flower I did using Spellbinders Flower dies and the DP used on the card, the center I crumbled to give a little texture to.

I hope you like it!
Have a great weekend, and I will post again in about a week!

I think there all lots of new things happening with CHA coming to a close this weekend! We will finally be able to start getting our hands on the new releases!! :) And speaking of releases..{ippity} will be having their next release on Aug 14th!! Can't wait! The new sets are awesome!

Another {ippity} Blog Hop!!

It is Monday again and that means it is time for another {ippity} Challenge and Blog Hop!

This week the challenge was to use Turquoise, yellow and another color of our choice.
I chose Chocolate.

The stamp sets I used this week were "Because of You" for the flower image and the sentiment is from "Just wanted to say".

Another Birthday card to have on hand! Seems I never have enough of those!

The DP is from Prima and is from the Urban Cosmos collection. I did use front and back side of the coordinating design.
The Turquoise and Chocolate are from Prismatics.
Used a brad from 7 gypsies for the enter of the flower and colored the image quickly with copics. The border was done with a punch from Fiskars and the rectangles and the tag I used my trusty Nestabilities! I hope you like it! :)

We have some very exciting news on the {ippity} front! There is going to be a New Release coming August 12th! YaHoo! Very Exciting! The new images are incredible and we are all very excited!
To celebrate the upcoming release I am going to have a SALE on all current releases. 30% off!!
and just a flat rate of 3$!!
Just sent me an e-mail and I will send you an invoice reflecting the 30% off price, it is that simple! If you have been waiting to try these high quality stamps now is the time to do it! ;)
You can use them with any acrylic block, and these sets all work so well together.

Until next time,
Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

Unity FWF

Gosh is it Friday already!?

Well I am sure there are many of you that are happy it is...and I know that I am one of those as well since that means it is another FWF Blog Hop!
Today I was inspired by the wheels and polka dots in our inspiration piece that you can see here http://http//tennisgirl27.blogspot.com/.

I did a baby card using the image from the July KOM and I added the little buttons for wheels to the image. Used several sizes of my long classic nestabilites, ginak card stock and the DP is from daisyd's.

The sentiment is also from the July KOM and what I did was split up the words so that I could put them onto tags. I used Tim Holtz fragments and the reverse side of the DP. The words were stamped with memento ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then I used glossy accents to adhere to the fragment. Added the jump ring and then strung them onto the ribbon. The New Mom could take the tags off and put them into the baby book, or even add them to a chain if she wanted! ;)

I hope you like it! Thank you for stopping by, and leaving a comment if you would like!
I do treasure each one!!

Have a wonderful weekend, and enjoy the rest of all the talent on the Hop!

Hugs,

Mary

{ippity} Hop! and IHHC 32 the "Case" of the copy cat card!

Good Morning Everyone!

Time for another {ippity} Blog hop with a fun challenge! This week we were to pick a card from the {ippity} gallery to case, and since I unfortunately needed a Sympathy card this is the card that I picked to CASE:
Well this is my attempt to try to case it!

I used the set" Now and Always", and the sentiment is from "Regal Greetings".
Both of these sets I have available on my {ippity} sale page at 20% off and flat rate of 3$ shipping! Just in case you " need" them! ;)

I stamped the image onto White Diamond cs from the Paper Temptress with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored in with copics, used my Long Classic Rectangle Nestabilites (small) for the sentiment and popped it up with pop dots, Used the bow easy for the bow, white ribbon, some pearls and light green rhinestones. The Butterfly is also from the set " Now and Always", and I cut that out and mounted it. My card base is pure luxury white cs from GinaK. I have mounted the white diamond cs onto the base of the pure luxury.
Well I hope you like my take on Emily's beautiful card! Thank you Emily!

Thank you for stopping by today, I truly appreciate and cherish each comment, and just the fact that you came by to look!

Have a wonderful week,

Hugs,

Mary

Unity FWF Friday!

Hello Everyone!

Hope you all had a great week!

Today is FWF Friday challenge 33 for Unity Stamp Co.!

This card didn't end up at all like I had imagined! But I hope you like it anyway!

It is simpler than what I had planned, but sometimes simple is good! hehe..

Okay down to the important stuff... I used the image for the new set by Melody Ross called " One Precious Life", I ended up only using the bicycle this time so look for it in the future again with a few other things added to it! Anyway, I embossed it using walnut stain distress ink, and colored the flowers quickly with copics. The sentiment is from the May 10' Unity Store KOM, I did use my oval nestabilites to cut that out along with the mat. The DP is from Memory Box and the brown ( i think it is called brown suede) is from prismatic and the ivory is pure luxury from GinaK. Added ribbon from Basic Grey and rhinestones from hero arts. Used pop dots on the bike for dimension. The little rose on the bow is from wild orchid crafts.

Well that is about it, I hope you like it! ;)

Have a great weekend,

Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

It is an {ippity} Monday!

Good Morning! Happy Monday!

Well it is happy because it is a {ippity} Blog Hop Day, and there is a lot of {ippity} goodness out there to be shared!

The challenge for todays Blog Hop was to make a project using 4 of a kind!
I decided that I was going to do a Christmas card for this challenge. Maybe if I start now I might actually get them ALL done this year! ;)

I used the {ippity} set " Season of Joy" from the newest release. ( which I do have on sale! ;) )

I have several "4's" on this card! There are 4 snowflakes, 4 squares, 4 label1's, 4 rhinestones and 4 layers!

I used frosty VersaMark ink and silver ranger embossing powder for the snowflakes and did a resist with tumbled glass distress ink from ranger on Ginak pure luxury white cs. The white squares are White Diamond CS from The Paper Temptress, it has a beautiful shimmer to it that I don't think the photo captures very well. The blue layer is ocean mist from GinaK and I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Pearl glimmer mist, then everything is mounted on Pure luxury white.

I used a rectangle nestie to create the tag and then used a slot hole punch for the ribbon to go through. The ribbon I bought at Micheal's last Christmas for 1$!

I did use pop dots to give the card some dimension.

The clear rhinestones I bought at Cat's Craft Cupboard awhile back as well as the Ranger silver embossing powder. This embossing powder is not a silver in the true sense of the word or description I guess you would say. It is more of a pearlized version, softer I think.

I hope you like what I came up with! Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to read my post!
All of your comments are always so kind and I truly appreciate each one of them!!

Have a Fantastic week,

Blessings and Hugs to each of you,

Mary

It's Unity FWF!

Hello ! And Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July Holiday last weekend, and that the short week was kind to you all!

Well, it is Friday, which means another Unity FWF Inspiration Challenge.
Last week we had a Super cute card titled " A little Happy", featuring the darling image of a parachuting letter H and the word Happy under it, the image was from the May KOM.
You can see the card on the Unity blog post from last friday.

I took my inspiration from the parachute and came up with this!
The images are from the December 09' and the May 10' KOM.
I stamped the tree and hillside image onto the DP which is from Echo Park called Summertime Using Memento tuxedo black ink then embossed it using clear embossing powder, colored the image with copics. The Hotair Balloon I stamped on Ginak pure luxury white, embossed it and then colored with copics. And I used pop dots to give the image some dimension.
The little Butterflys I punched out of a glitter paper that I think I got from Cynful Designs, and then I added the little rhinestones, and stamped the sentiment again directly to the DP.

A fairly quick and simple one this week!

I hope you like it!

Have a wonderful weeked!

Blessings and Hugs,

Mary

Unity FWF 31!

Hello again!

It is time again for Friends with Flair. We had a beautiful inspiration piece that you can see on the Unity blog. And from that piece I used the colors and the floral image as my inspiration.

This post will be short since there is always lots of creativity and Unity goodness on fridays! Not to mention that it is 3:00 a.m!! Yikes!

Anyway, I used the new Samantha Walker stamp set called Butterfly Garden.
It really does have beautiful images. I just fell in love with this set!
I did use copics to color in the image after stamping it with vintage photo distress ink and then heat embossing the image with clear embossing powder.

The card stock is GinaK luxury ocean mist and the DP is from MME. The teal colored stickers are from Making Memories, and the ribbon...I don't remember. The yellow is a beautiful velvet.
And then the chip board butterfly is maya roads.

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful 4th of July!!

Blessings and Hugs,

Mary
